About WNC Climate Control
Three Generations of Heating and Air in Weaverville
Josh Crowder's grandfather started WNC Climate Control, and Josh was on jobs with him by the time he was ten. He went on to complete an HVAC apprenticeship under his father as an adult.
Josh joined Bolton Corporation as a commercial mechanics apprentice in 2000 and worked as a technician's apprentice at Palmetto Air & Water Balance. While working as an HVAC mechanic at one of the larger companies in Asheville, he earned an Associate of Applied Science in HVAC from A-B Tech, and later moved up to commercial construction manager there.
In 2020, he reopened his grandfather's company under the same name.
For the first few years, Josh was a one-man show. He answered every call and handled every install, service call, and maintenance visit himself. He truly built this company from the ground up.
