Why Locals Choose WNC Climate Control
Three Generations in the Trade
Josh's grandfather started WNC Climate Control, and Josh apprenticed under his father. He reopened the family business in Weaverville in 2020.
Same-Day Service
When your heat or AC quits, you can’t wait. We answer the phone and get to you fast — nights, weekends, and holidays included.
Not a Franchise
When you call, you get the Weaverville crew, not a call center three states away. Same trucks, same faces, every job.
Active in Our Community
Josh coaches local youth teams, and we show up for events across Western North Carolina. We live here, so this isn't a service area to us. It's home.
What Our WNC Neighbors Say
"Josh and his team handled our complex project with quality and excellent service. They retrofitted our property with a completely new system and ductwork. Highly recommend!"
"Not only did they generously squeeze us into a busy schedule, they also assessed the issue quickly and accurately, executed the repair efficiently, and took the time afterward to explain the work and suggest proper maintenance tips."
10-YearLabor Warrantyon Change-Outs & Installation
Every residential installation and change-out carries a ten-year labor warranty.
Commercial HVAC Services in Asheville & Western NC
When the AC goes down, the business stops, produce spoils and customers leave. WNC Climate Control keeps Asheville businesses running: restaurants, breweries, churches, and hotels from downtown to Weaverville and out across Western North Carolina.
We install, service, and replace commercial systems. Rooftop unit change-outs and full installs, kitchen hoods, make-up air units, VRF, and gas piping.
Our Service Area
Mountain HVAC isn’t flatland HVAC.
Big temperature swings. Humid summers, drier winters than most people expect. Terrain that sends water runoff places it shouldn’t go. Our techs read these situations before they turn into problems, because they’ve worked these hills for 25 years.
We’re based in Weaverville and run about an hour out in every direction: Waynesville to the west, Marion to the east, Hot Springs north, Brevard and Flat Rock south. That covers Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Madison, Transylvania, Rutherford, McDowell, and Yancey counties.
We install, service, and repair HVAC systems in:
- Weaverville

- Marshall
- Fletcher
- Canton
